Mixed Use Development on the Sea Front

Alex Oliver Associates successfully obtained planning permission for a mixed use development overlooking the sea front in Hove

In response to the context of the site, the practice designed the building to step down in scale and mass.  The front larger block sits comfortably between a series of multi-storey residential buildings overlooking the seafront, whereas the western side of the building terraces down in response to the scale of the adjacent Edwardian houses.
