Alex Oliver Associates successfully obtained planning permission for a mixed use development overlooking the sea front in Hove. 
​
In response to the context of the site, the practice designed the building to step down in scale and mass.  The front larger block sits comfortably between a series of multi-storey residential buildings overlooking the seafront, whereas the western side of the building terraces down in response to the scale of the adjacent Edwardian houses.
