Residential Development within a Conservation Area
Alex Oliver Associates undertook a conservation area appraisal and historical area analysis and characterisation study to support a proposed residential development on the boundary of the Great Horwood conservation area. In addition to the re-ordering of a Grade II listed house including significant alterations and the remodelling of an ugly 1960’s extension to make an attractive home; sympathetic to the historic environment in which it is situated.
